During this retreat, you will have the opportunity to learn new techniques, demos, share ideas and work on your projects, in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced scrapbooker, this event is perfect for anyone who loves preserving memories through this beloved art form. Whether you are a beginner or experienced crafter you will be inspired by the tranquility of the ocean and beautiful sunrises.
Our retreat will feature various demonstrations led by talented individuals, who will inspire you with their expertise and passion. In addition to the creative aspect, we understand the importance of building connections within this community. Throughout the weekend, you'll have plenty of opportunities to share, exchange ideas, and make lasting friendships with like minded individuals who share your love for this craft.

What is Included with the crop fee :
To keep costs down, lunch will not be provided. There are restaurants nearby. Every room also has the use of a microwave and small fridge.
Daily hot continental breakfast will be provided by the Comfort Inn

What to Bring:
For the traditional scrapbooker:
You will need to bring what you use to create your albums. Cutting tools, punches, embellishments, mixed mediums, journaling pens, papers, if you have an electronic cutting machine bring that along, and of course your pictures. I will provide my Big Kick ( a manual die cutting machine with plates).
For the digital scrapbooker -
Bring your laptop and your charging cord. The comfort Inn does have Wifi to access your digital materials
For the crafter -
This will depend upon what you are working on. So bring your products to work on your projects.
**(If you use any paints or sprays, out of curtesy and respect to the Comfort Inn and the use of their tables, be sure you cover your surface)
Bring comfy clothes, dress in layers (I personally like wearing my slippers or fuzzy warm socks).
Bring outdoor clothing and proper shoes for walking on the beach, if you like to stretch and walk.(prepare for cooler weather, but you never know you may get some warmer days. I always recommend wearing layers. )
Everyone has their own style of music they like to listen to, for curtesy of those around you, bring your own ear buds so you can enjoy your own music.
Don't forget your phone charger
Bring your own extension cord. Power strips will be provided.
Extra cash for eating out for lunch. Every room has a mini fridge and microwave if you prefer to bring your own food.
Bring your own beverages. Every room does have a mini fridge. There are vending machine and drink machines located on each floor.
As everyone has their own prefrence of what snacks they enjoy, feel free to bring what you like. I will be providing snacks and goodies throughout the retreat.

How do I register/pay for this scrapbooking retreat?
you will register/pay for the scrapbooking retreat directly through ticket leap.
If I am a local resident, do I need to have rooming accomodations at the Comfort Inn?
No, you do not need rooming accomodations if you are a local resident and are attending the retreat.
If I am attending the retreat, without room accomodations, do I still receive full access to the Comfort Inn?
No, this includes their hot daily continental breakfast, their coffee bar, and the use of their fitness center.
Are chidren allowed to attend this retreat
All participants must be 16 years old and above. Any minors under the age of 18 must have adult supervision at all times
Are pets allowed?
While the comfort Inn does allow pets for an added fee, Only Service dogs will be allowed in the retreat room.
(any service dog, must remain leashed at all times, and under the table at all times)
What is your refund policy?
Refund Policy:
This is only for the Crop fee.
All payments made include a $75 non refundable deposit.
If a guest wishes to cancel their reservation the cancellation must be as follows.
Any cancellation must be made by October 21, 2024 to receive refund minus $75 non-refundable deposit fee.
Any cancellation made on or after October 22,2024 will not be refunded.
All cancellations must be made in writing and sent by email to Tina McArthur @ [email protected]
Cancellations postmarked by email on October 22, 2024 and after, will not be refunded
Any refund that is to be returned will not be returned untl 2 weeks after event, due to all funds being held by ticket leap.
